I was travelling along the M5 the other day and it was packed with holiday makers off to Cornwall.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I love Cornwall, with all the old mines, but, too many people!!
Having spent some time in Pembrokeshire in the past year I just don’t understand why it is not more popular?!
You have amazing coastline…

You have lakes with boardwalks and otters…
You have hills to walk and 270 degree sea views to see…
You have friendly people and hilly towns with bright painted houses.
And all with easy access and not being packed with hundreds of other people.
What else could you ask for?
Great imagery – I never knew there was Puffins in Pembrokeshire…
Yep, visit Skomer Island. Thousands of them, you can hear them talking to each other and they fly over your head and stand next to you 🙂
Oh we are all over this… coming to the end of the season though 😦 Next year – thank you so much really excited about this… Hope my blogs can give you some inspiration
Nah, not the end of the season in Pembrokshire, it is amazing in winter too. I saw cute little fluffy seals in January 🙂 you have to go!
Yes just looked up the Puffins – they start to eave in August 😦 we shall get there though – Thanks … and stop by my blog when you are free
Ah, I see, yes, getting a little late for puffins now, but they are still there as I was there last week taking those photos 🙂 will have a look at your blog 🙂
Thanks hope it inspires as much as your post did me
Love your site 🙂 I will be stealing ideas from you too! 🙂
Good good glad it resonated
Oh, and don’t forget the other birds you will see: Peregrines, Manx Shearwaters, Guillemots, razor bills, etc. it felt like I was on a David Attenborough series 🙂
